SCENE:(Most of the action performed in this scene does not obey the laws of physics which therefore falls into the genre of fiction.):

The event takes place at a stadium with a platform that has rules that if anyone falls out of the platform, ultimately loses the match. The platform is surrounded by attendants who are anxious and zealous to watch the fight take place. The Director picks up the microphone from his booth and announces “And now, as you all have been waiting for, the first match of the prize fight will be exhibited by the American Taekwondo champion, Dan!”. Dan enters the platform and bows before the audience shortly after his name is announced. The Director continues informing, “From the Forest of Japan’s Kashima Jingu region we have delivered the grisliest beast that knows no mercy, Kraga!”. Kraga is unlocked from its cage, runs into the platform and stands on its feet roaring wildly “ROAR!” turning his head in one hundred and eighty degrees with his hands rising in an almost human fashion.

The referee comes onto the stage, raises a red flag up into the sky and swiftly brings it down simultaneously with the sound of a bell which signals the beginning of the first match. Dan takes deep breaths as Kraga approaches him, opening its large mouth with his sharp teeth. Dan does not panic but decides that if he dodges Kraga’s charges he can swiftly come to the side and strike Kraga’s feet with his foot as a tactic to weaken Kraga’s stance. Kraga charges at Dan growling “HWOAR!”, Dan turns to the side and just before he attacks the feet of the bear he ducks. As soon as he ducks, Dan impels his right foot to collide sideways into the bear’s shin. Shortly after, Dan turns his body to the left while in a ducking position to trip the bear with his left foot that he swipes into the same shin and exerting his breath with a “HO!” sound. Kraga falls down with his legs outwards from his body with a large pounding sound and growls “ARR!”. As soon as the Bear rises back up, Dan does not lose focus and continues to target the Bear.

Dan tightens his fists and spreads his feet far apart from each other in order to balance his body in a steady form. Kraga growls “GRRAR” while picking up his front right leg, he claws Dan across the chest leaving four long bloody scars while Dan was trying to counter attack the Bear simultaneously. Dan squeals “AH!” from the pain, loses balance and rises back up clenching his teeth together covering his chest with his left hand. The Bear charges at Dan, but Dan gains balance again and attacks the bear from the side driving his right foot to the side of the same shin. Dan turns his body three hundred and sixty degrees to the left and delivers a blow of his foot to Kraga’s knee fracturing the knee and having the Bear fall down in pain. The Bear growls in agony “RAAAR!”. Dan does not hesitate and begins to form a combination of kicks into the body of the bear in a relatively rapid fashion. Dan runs forward approaching the bear, elevating his left foot, pulling it back and kicking incessantly as much as he can having the crowd all at once awe “WAA”.

Dan’s left leg travels from the left hitting the Bear’s foot to the right injuring the Bear’s foot again and then having his left foot strike the same leg to the left side. Shortly after this move he picks up his right foot hitting the Bear straight into the waist then ducking his body he kicks his left foot into lower part of the shin and with all his might sets his left foot back, he launches his foot into the Bear’s waist making the Bear jump high in mid-air. Suddenly, Dan tells himself “This is it”. Dan runs and jumps, shouting a “HO!” sound just before the bear drops and kicks the bear with his left foot into the bear’s torso forming an electric cloud of energy exertion delivering it into the bleachers of the stadium heavily injuring a few people while having the bear lose consciousness.

  1. Great action. Surprised to see this rather than a continuation/expansion of the girl-in-israel story we've seen in various forms. Entirely up to you, but this story seems much more suited for, say, a screenplay format than a short story. It is exciting though.
