Old Flames are Hard To Die

Plot

Veronica and Justin were high school sweet hearts. They were so in love. They spent all their time together. They were inseparable. They were even making plans for the future. They wanted to get married. But Justin ended up cheating on Veronica with her cousin. That destroyed their relationship. Veronica decided to leave him. She left town to start a new life. She became very successful. She later met a guy and got married. Their marriage only lasted a few years because he didn’t want children. She had to start her life over once again. She ended up going back to her hometown to be close to her family. She became a business partner of a hotel. She met a new guy named Jason. They started to date and having a good time with each other.

Justin stayed in his hometown. He had married twice already. He was now on his third marriage with a baby boy on the way. But his wife cheated on him with his brother. He is unsure if he is the baby’s father. He already had older two boys. He has his own coffee business. He never forgot about Veronica but he moved on with his life.

A few months down the road Veronica and Justin met again at Veronica’s hotel and sparks flew again. But they were respectful towards each other and did not try to rekindle their love. They found out that their significant other were siblings. That gave them more reason not to pursue anything and keep their distant.

Description of characters

1. Veronica-

She is tall and slender. She has a body of a goddess. Her assets are very well portioned. She has smooth beautiful tanned skin. She has beautiful black long wavy black hair. She has gorgeous dark brown eyes. Her face is heart shaped with a perfect small nose. She has a beauty mark above her full lips.

She is such a kind-hearted person. She’s adventurous but at the same time very mature and responsible. She tries very hard to make the right choices in her life. She’s a Harvard graduate. She’s really smart. She pretty much has it all beauty and smarts.

2. Justin-

He is tall with an athletic fit body. He’s very toned not over built. He has such beautiful abs. He’s very well groomed and clean-cut. He has short black hair and a goatee. He has such dreamy green eyes. He has a caramel complexion.

He is very health conscious. He watches what he eats to maintain his body. He is well educated. He’s attractive to many. He has such a nice sense of humor. He’s also adventurous. He’s hard working and goal-oriented. When he sees something he wants he must have it.

3. Jason-

He’s slim and tall. He has blondish light brown hair with gray eyes. He has no facial hair. His body was very well built. He had strong long hands and legs.

He’s a very serious well-known man. He’s well traveled and educated. He’s very wealthy. He owns a couple of businesses. He goes out of his way to accommodate a woman. He makes her feel like a queen.

Scene-

Late Thursday evening Justin had been waiting at home for his wife, Shirley to arrive from the hospital. She had just seen the doctor for an amino. They had been waiting for the fetus to be old enough to get tested. Justin was losing his patience. He started to assume that the baby must not be his because Shirley has not contacted him yet. He decided to go to Veronica’s place. He needed to talk to someone. He couldn’t think of anyone to go to but Veronica.

He arrived to her home. He steps of his 2009 black Mercedes Benz. He’s wearing jeans with a white collared shirt and a navy blue blazer. He walks up the stairs and knocks the door. “Who’s there? called out Veronica. “It’s Justin” he said. He has his hands in pockets. He was upset but at the same time nervous. Veronica opens the door. She was still wearing her work clothes. She had a dark gray pencil skirt that hugged her curves tightly and a black blouse that showed just enough cleavage.” Come in. What brings you here? she asked curiously. He walks in the doorway and takes her into his arms and kissed her passionately. Veronica pushes away him furiously and yells “What’s wrong with you?! You’re a married man with a kid on the way and you are married to my boyfriend’s sister. How could u do that? She walks away from him. He follows her and responds “I won’t be married for long. We had an amino done to figure out who is the real father of her baby. She hasn’t called me to let me know it’s me so that must mean she’s sharing the news with my brother. This loveless marriage will be over. We can be together now.” Veronica shakes her head in disagreement and says “I’m sorry to hear that but what makes you think that I want to be with you. I’m with Jason now. You had your chance with me when we were younger and you blew it.” “I know I’m so sorry. That was one of the biggest mistake I ever made in my life. But you didn’t even fight for me. You left this town and you are back. I feel like this is our second chance. I also think you are dating Jason to make me jealous. It has working.” He walks closer to her and grabs her face. Veronica began to tremble with his touch. It was obvious she still had feelings for him. “ I left because I didn’t know what else to do. You were my whole life and I thought our love was real and strong. I’m a different person now. I’ve moved on and I’m doing good on my own.” She pulls his hands from her face but kept looking deep in his eyes and said “You really hurt me and I won’t do the same to Jason”. He replies “ Veronica you don’t love him. You’re using him to get to me. I want to be with you. I never stopped loving you. And with that he kissed her again. This time she doesn’t pull away. She gives in. She started to remember his kisses.

The door opened and Jason walks in. Justin and Veronica were taken aback. “What the hell is going on here?! he yells. “I can explain” Veronica said. “He came in to tell me that your sister is not having his baby and he’s divorcing her”. “What!? Does that gives him the right for him to started kissing you? I can’t believe you would betray me with your ex-boyfriend. I treated you like a queen. I’ve given you anything you asked for. And now this is how you repay me? He continued to yell then he turns to Justin and yells “You are a low life of a husband you are not even divorced yet and you already moving on. I don’t care if my sister slept with your brother but two wrongs don’t make a right. What hypocrisy!” with that he grabbed the door handle and stormed out. You could hear the tires screeching.
