John

Plot:
John is a scientist. At 45 years old, he finally finishes his time machine. He travels ten years into the future and seeks his future self out. John at 45, or John45 finds out that his wife has been murdered in the future, and that all signs point to this future self, John55, as the murderer. John45 knows he is extremely smart, and he could never find his future self alone, so he travels back in time to collect younger versions of himself to help out. John45 gets John35, and John25, and travels back to the future in order to solve the mystery. John25 is just starting to become a scientist, and doesn’t know his future wife, so he seems not to care too much, and John35 is already an accomplished scientist, but just fresh into the marriage, so both younger versions of John are a bit hesitant to help John45 out. They finally figure out where John55 is hiding, and confront him. John55 is standing there with a baby, and proclaims that the baby is John1. John55 has traveled back in time himself and taken John as a baby. He said the only way to make himself the smartest scientist ever, is to go back in time, and raise himself as his own son, giving him all the knowledge he already has about time travel. When his wife found out his plan, she wanted to stop him, so John55 had to kill her. A fight ensues and John25 and 35 are killed. John55 is mortally wounded. Before he dies, John55 says that this future will still happen if John45 goes back to his normal time, for he will become John55. John45 decides to kill himself, and send John1 back in time, to try and correct everything. John1`s parents find him inside this strange machine on their lawn, and decide to destroy the machine and never talk about it again, but when John1 finally grows up, he cant shake this weird fascination with time travel.
Characters:
John45: John at 45 years old is already a veteran scientist. He has been working on his time machine for years, and has lots of experience behind him. He had been married to his wife for over ten years now, and she is always rather curious about his work. He has no children, but always longed for one, so he could at least have some one to pass his knowledge on to. He is average height and build, with a receding hairline. He is usually clean shaven, but tends to grow a beard whenever he works on his machine for long periods of time. Although he is 45, he still does not have one gray hair. John looks good for 45, aside from a few wrinkles.
John55: Ever since completing his time machine, he has been completely engulfed in his work. John at 55 may have lost his sanity. He no longer comes out of his lab, and his wife is extremely worried about him. He has become very skinny, his beard has grown down to this chest, and he is now completely bald. All he talks about is his “ultimate plan”, which will supposedly make him the greatest scientist to have ever lived. He still does not have one gray hair, so his large black unkept beard gives him the appearance of a pirate, or a caveman. Although John55 is only 55, he looks many years older, like an old catchers mitt that has been weathered and overused.
John25: John at 25 is just starting to enter the field of science, but not because of a genuine interest in it, more like an urge to follow it. He seems drawn to the theories of time travel, and wants to know everything about it. He is a young handsome man, with a full head of hair, and just a bit of facial hair. He is single, but plans to have a family one day.
